Pneumonia
Young male presented with influenza pneumonia, with suspected bacterial superinfection.
CT PE shows bilateral infiltrates, with markedly decreased perfusion on iodine maps (iodine density 0.4 mg/mL, versus 1.3 in normal lung).
Sputum cultures grew MSSA.
CT from 2 weeks later shows bilateral extensive cavitary necrosis at site of previous infiltrates.
